A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdansk.

In 1998, Małgorzata Okoń completed her legal training and passed the judge's examination. Since 2002, she has been working as a legal adviser after completing her legal adviser training and legal adviser`s examination.

In 1998-2010, Ms Okoń cooperated with the law firm Głuchowski Jedliński Rodziewicz Zwara in Sopot, and after its transformation into a professional partnership in 2003, she became its Partner.

A long-term trustee and legal adviser of entities participating in bankruptcy proceedings.

Małgorzata Okoń specializes in civil law, in particular property law, including real estate trade and related issues such as perpetual usufruct fees, zoning fees, betterment levy and compensation for expropriated real estate. She provides services to developers and real estate agents.

Ms Okoń has extensive experience in family and guardianship law, and handles complex divorce cases, child arrangements cases, and matrimonial cases – also the ones concerning the division of joint property. She is interested in the canon law of marriage, and, as a proxy, represents parties before church courts in cases concerning declaration of marriage nullity.

Ms Okoń has extensive procedural experience before common courts, administrative courts, arbitration courts (including the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Gdansk and the Football Arbitration Court at the Polish Football Association in Warsaw) and the Supreme Court.

She conducts classes for trainees at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Gdansk.
